IMPORTANT: ManhattanLife Insurance and Annuity Corporation discontinued new Medicare Supplement sales in all states effective April 30, 2025. No new applications are being accepted. Existing policyholders are not affected - all in-force policies continue to be serviced as usual. Manhattan Life was founded in 1850 and is one of the oldest insurance companies in the United States. Their Medigap plans (A, C, F, G, and N) were offered in approximately 40 states. Their AM Best rating is B++ (Good), upgraded from B+ in November 2022. Available Medigap Plans
All Medigap plans are standardized by federal law - a Plan G from Manhattan Life offers identical benefits to a Plan G from any other carrier. The only difference is the premium.
Plan C and Plan F are not available to anyone who became eligible for Medicare on or after January 1, 2020.
